| For some reason, this board doesn't accept any time I hit "return" on my keyboard. So every time I try and create a new paragraph (including a space between lines), while it shows up in the post window, after I hit post, all of the lines are one on top of each other. It makes it impossible to read my posts, and is incredibly bothersome, to the point where I'm using the board about 10% as much as I normally did. The only way I've gotten around it, is by putting a period in a line instead of a blank line. . like that. . which to me, looks pretty stupid. It's also annoying to have to do that. . Is there any way to fix this? I see other people have that problem, while others don't. Anyone have a work-around? If it's "use another browser" that's not going to work because a) I'm not going to revamp my entire browsing experience because one site on the planet isn't formatted to fit with IE and b) I'm on a work laptop and I can't install new programs.

Okay...I was just sort of playing with things here. If you click on "indent left" before you type, it allows you to space in between lines. Working for me now. When I don't click on "indent left" I have the same problem as yourself. I know it's kind of a pain in the ass to click the indent everytime before you type, so I'll see if support can add this to the list if not already added. Sorry for the slow response.

Thanks. If that's the workaround, it's certainly not a pain in the ass. Much less of a pain in the ass than having to put periods everywhere throughout my posts. Now, if I could just find a way to fix everyone else's posts so they are readable.

Unless I'm doing something wrong. And if that's the only way, then every time everyone hits a reply, it's going to indent the page a little bit more until things are just squished up all the way to the right.

| test test test 2 If this works, use the "p" tags listed in the IF code shortcuts. Before you type hit p and type your text between the tags. Then do the same everytime you want a new paragraph. I have had mixed success with this. It works when i select the tags from the menu but not when I type the tags in myself--which doesn't make much sense.

| sigh. Didn't work. trying again this time hitting "return" twice I also noticed that if all text was placed within the tags, I received an error message saying that i needed to supply content to post. So I put the 1st sentence without tags. That worked but without the paragraph breaks.
