RCR is on such a roll right now, that it's hard for me not to predict Harvick to win it all. 5 years after his untimely death, Earnhardt's old #3 is gonna take the title. For second this year I'm gonna take the Shrub. He's young, fast, fearless, sometimes clueless, and has a ton of support. Who would've thought 3 Hendrick teams make the chase and Kyle is the favorite among them? I think I'm gonna take JJ next. Even though they haven't ran well lately, I think starting Sunday they turn it up and in my opinion are a huge threat to win it all. Kenseth is gonna finish 4th. And with any slippage among the previously mentioned guys and Matt's gonna hoist his 2nd trophy. I believe that Jr. is gonna bring it home 5th. The team is much stronger than last and they cooperate so much better this season than last. As soon as the engine dept. gets caught up with the other teams (think Daytona '07) this will be an elite team also. On a side note, look for Jr. to play out his final year with DEI in '07 and possibly sign with RCR (who still owns the #3) and race the #3 Budweiser Monte Carlo in '07. Gordon will come in 6th in the chase this year. The team is solid but not on a consistent enought basis to win in to 10 event shootout. One mulligan is all any of these drivers are gonna get. 2 finishes of 30th or worst is going to kill their chances. Which leads us to the enigmatic Kahne, who will come home in 7th. He may win a race or even 2 during the chase but will also have a few poor finishes that will ultimately doom him. A month ago I would've taken Burton for at least a top 3 finish, but now Harvick seems to be getting all of the RCR love, aka horsepower, and the team seems to be hit an miss right now and that won't cut it in the final ten events. Hamlin 9th. I would pick him higher, and I really want to, but he's a rookie, and he's Stewart's teammate. Thats not really a good enough reason to pick him this far down, but it's the best I can do right now. Martin 10th, he's 150 years old and should've already won a title. And he would've if he had just grown a pair and driven more aggressively the past 20 years. It's just my opinion, but I'm sticking to it.

Then all the son's of Troy shall die!
