Ten team league, highly competitive, standard 8 cat. Snake draft, I had first pick:
1. LBJ
2. Chauncey Billups
3. Josh Smith
4. Peja
5. Sheed
6. Deron Williams
7. Ben Gordon
8. TJ Ford
9. Speedy Claxton
10. Channing Frye
11. Nazr Mohammed
12. Leandro Barbosa
13. Bonzi Wells
14. Kurt Thomas
15. Ryan Gomes
I think I'm weakest in the big man cats -- boards and blocks.

| Yeah, not much for blocks here. I think I'll be strong enough in the guards to make a trade and pick up some help.

| Very solid draft, I'm not even sure I'd say "real weak in blocks" if Josh Smith can stuff guys at a clip of 2.5 per game. I think you biggest problem is going to be FG. Labron WILL save you there, but your 2nd through 9th round guys are all terrible FG (including 2 forwards, Rasheed and Smith shooting at 43%, at positions where low FG hurts most). Frye or Nazr Muhammed as your 2nd center (assuming Frye is C elig. in your league) won't shoot enough to push you to the top of the pack. I'd predict you'll only shoot at a 44% clip, at very best, given you start 3 G (Chauncey, Deron, Gordon) , 3 F (Lebron, Smith, Peja), 2 C (Sheed, Frye/Nazr) and Util (Ford/Claxton). This FG issue (as well as the blocks and boards) could be somewhat remedied by starting both Nazr at C and Frye at Util, although you have some real talent on the bench then (which isnt always a greaet thing). Points, Assist, Steals, FT, 3s will all be fine. The obvious solution to this is to try to move whoever you have to move to get an elite FG, BLK, REB guy. I think you have the depth to move Chauncey + Nazr/Frye/Deron/Gordon/Ford/Claxton for a elite center in FG/BLK/REB if you can get somebody to bite. If you decide to keep Chauncey I would try to move your 6th-9th round guards + Frye/Nazr for a FG/BLK/Reb guy.

Yeah, I agree there's an FG% problem. A lot of the draft had to do with looking at best players available at my pick. Particularly took the Ford / Claxton picks when it came to me because that took a big chunk out of available PG's. I think I can package a nice two for one trade and get a choice PF to help me in boards/blocks/FG%. Want to see a few of these guards get some good runs in the first weeks of the season so I can get the best value in the trade ...
