Right now my goalie situation looks like this:
T. Vokoun
MA. Fleury
V. Toskala
R. Emery
we're only allowed to start 2 any given night, but this guy really needed a goalie bad so I snagged Emery off the WW before he did, then I traded Emery to him for S.Salo, a trade which is pending until the 29th.
Should I cancel the trade to keep Emery, or pick up off the WW.
Waivers:
N. Backstrom; R. Dipietro; M. Smith; N. Khabiboulin; J. Holmqvist; O. Kolzig; T. Thomas; C. Mason and a few others

Right now, I'm leaning towards Dipietro, the Isles are hot right now, and he's played well. Mason seems like a viable option aswell. suggestions?

I would shoot for Mason, Holmqvist or DiPietro. I don't know if I would have traded away Emery for Salo IMO but you could cancel the deal or dump someone for any of the guys I mentioned. What does your roster look like?

The Emery trade looks bad now, but I really didn't have the need for 4 goalies at the time. Then of course, vokoun goes down after the trade was accepted. The trade was mostly just to get a quality D-man for a player I didn't think I needed at the time. Hindsight, if I know vokoun's going down I hang on to Emery, but I think Mason has played well so far, hopefully he keeps it up. If he looks shaky tonight, do you think I should jump on Dipietro?

I think that DiPietro is a solid option now but the Preds are a much more solid team than the Isles. I would jump on Mason while you still can. He's a solid backup to Vokoun but naturally doesn't have much PT since 'Kouner's a stud. If/when Yahoo puts Vokoun on the IR (assuming that the Preds will place him there), you could go for DiPietro or the best D-man you can find in FA, whatever you feel your team needs at this point in the season.
