| Made it to our league's Fantasy Bowl and I'm down by quite a bit heading into the final week, so I need to take some chances in hopes of a good payoff. Our league rules limit us to 20 pickups per season and I'm down to my last one. Here's my dilemma. My QB's are Brees and Brady. I figure neither one will play a whole lot, but of the two, I'd guess Brady plays more since the Pats don't have the #3 seed locked up yet. So if I had to start one of them, I'd go with him. I was planning on playing the Barbers at RB (Tiki and Marion), but I started thinking maybe I should use my last pickup on Ron Dayne and play him over Marion since he's a sure bet to get more carries. But then I started thinking maybe I should use it on a QB that's sure to get more work than Brady or Brees. Problem there is our waiver wire is pretty devoid of viable starting QB's - the only ones I'd consider would be Rattay or Warner. So what would you guys do? Use my last pickup on Dayne and play him over one of the Barbers or go with one of the QB's and hope for the best? Or do I sit tight and "dance with who brung me"? Thanks and good luck! (This a pretty standard ESPN league that counts passing TD's as 4 pts, RuTD's/ReTD's as 6 points; 1 point per 25 PaYds and 1 point per 10 RuYds/ReYds.)

Barber seems due for a touchdown, but Dayne has been solid the last couple of games. I would go with Brady and take a chance on Dayne who won't be splitting carries with anyone.

| Thanks, C-Dub. I was beginning to lean that way as well. Anyone else care to give their $0.02?

| Wow. Well, as it turns out, I reversed course and picked up Warner and went with the law firm of Barber & Barber at RB. With Dayne sitting out today's game, it ended up being the right call. This is the first time I'm glad I didn't go with your advice! :-) Have a good offseason!
