12 team H2H 9 cat League.

My Team
G - Chauncey Billups, Tony Parker, Leandro Barbosa, Shaun Livingston, Michael Redd, JR Smith
F - Shawn Marion, Antawn Jamison, David Lee
C - Alonzo Mourning, Hakim Warrick, Mark Blount, Brendan Haywood

His Team
G - Steve Nash, Andre Miller, Sam Cassell, Jason Williams, Dwayne Wade
F - Caron Butler, Gerald Wallace, Corey Maggette, Jason Kapono
C - Andris Biedrins, Tyson Chandler, Nick Collison, Dikembe Mutombo

I originally offered him
Michael Redd/Shaun Livingston/Hakim Warrick for Andre Miller/Tyson Chandler/Corey Maggette.
He countered with
Shawn Marion/Tony Parker for Andre Miller/Tyson Chandler/Corey Maggette.

I countered with this...
Shawn Marion/Shaun Livingston/Hakim Warrick for Steve Nash/Caron Butler/Tyson Chandler

Am I asking enough for Shawn Marion. Good trade offer?? Yes or No??

He'd have to be mental to accept that last one.

Marion and Nash are worth about the same, but Caron is playing like a 1st or 2nd round pick and Chandler racks up heaps of boards/blocks. Livingston and Warrick are marginal fantasy players at best.

I think something like Marion, Parker and Redd for Nash, Caron and Chandler is more likely to get accepted. Although you'd be selling low on Redd, so maybe offer Barbosa in his place instead and see what happens.

ummmmmmmmmmmm, you are way off.....

Marion = Nash?? NO, never. EVER. Sure Nash is having a career year, but Shawn Marion is the undeniable #1 Fantasy Player, aside from Gilbert Arenas.....

Marion/Parker/Redd for Nash/Caron/Chandler is just horrible. plain horrible.

Yeah cos your initial deal was so fair wasn't it. Go ahead and offer it, just don't be surprised when it's rejected...

Despite what u want to believe, fact is Marion and Nash are pretty similar in value. Marion may be worth more, especially in leagues that count turnovers, but he's clearly not head and shoulders above him as u claim. And u could definitely use Nash's league leading 12 assists a game since Billups and Parker are your only real source of assists - none of your big guys provide u with much in that area.

Parker only helps u in FG%, points and assists, he gets hardly any steals or 3s. And in a H2H league he won't really help u that much in the playoffs since the Spurs always rest their stars down the stretch anyway.

Butler replaces a lot of the things Marion does for u, and Chandler is definitely an upgrade over your current centres - Zo is a great source of blocks, but he doesn't help u too much in the other cats, and Blount and Haywood are average at best.

And since Redd is currently injured, he really isn't worth too much at the moment, which is why i suggested Barbosa in his place.

I think if u could pull off the deal with Barbosa instead, it would certainly give u a more balanced team.
