I'm in a 8 team league under a "fan points" system.
FGM, 3PTM, PTS, REB, AST: +1 point
ST, BLK: +2 points
TO: -1 point
Here are my players, and their FPPG:
PG/SG:
41.0 Deron Williams
39.6 Ben Gordon
36.8 Mo Williams
35.8 Chauncey Billups
31.5 Raymond Felton
SG/SF:
51.2 Lebron James
46.6 Gerald Wallace (PF Eligible)
38.7 Andre Iguodala
38.4 Josh Smith
PF/C:
47.5 Carlos Boozer (INJURED)
46.9 Chris Bosh
38.2 Emeka Okafor
31.9 David West (Only PF Eligible)
524.1 Total
In the past two weeks, I've bumped up from 4th place to 3rd place, and I'm about 500 fan points behind the 2nd place player, and 700 fan points behind the 1st place player.
Here are a few moves I've made recently (chronological order):
Traded Paul Pierce for Ben Gordon (4 Weeks ago)
Traded Marcus Camby + Carmelo Anthony for Lebron James + Chris Bosh
Dropped Brandon Roy for David West
Dropped Monta Ellis for Carlos Boozer (Today)
Our 1st place guy dropped Carlos Boozer for Andrew Bogut the day Boozer got hurt. He's been sitting on waivers for about a week, and after doing the math in my head, I decided that it would be better for me to keep Boozer for 3 to 4 more weeks until he comes back than to stick with Monta for the rest of the season.
Now that you know my situation, here's my question:
Will David West improve his game? I'm a little worried. After coming back strong with a couple 20/10 games, for the past few games he's been averaging a little under 4 successful shots a game. What's the deal? Will he improve? Or should I drop him and pickup Monta again after he clears waivers?
Thanks in advance,
Dave
