| I didn't have time for a live draft, so I ended up with this: C: Kenji Johjima 1B: Albert Pujols 2B: Rickie Weeks 3B: Aramis Ramirez SS: Rafael Furcal OF: Grady Sizemore / Raul Ibanez / Nick Swisher UTIL: Travis Hafner On my bench, I have Mark Teahen, Nick Johnson, Juan Rivera and Ken Griffey Junior (DOH!). Pitching; I have Felix, Sabbathia, Brett Myers, Wang, Derek Lowe, Cliff Lee, Scot Shields and Bob Wickman. Not great. Any suggestions?

WojtekLusicki (2/22/2007) I didn't have time for a live draft, so I ended up with this:
C: Kenji Johjima
1B: Albert Pujols
2B: Rickie Weeks
3B: Aramis Ramirez
SS: Rafael Furcal
OF: Grady Sizemore / Raul Ibanez / Nick Swisher
UTIL: Travis Hafner
On my bench, I have Mark Teahen, Nick Johnson, Juan Rivera and Ken Griffey Junior (DOH!).
Pitching; I have Felix, Sabbathia, Brett Myers, Wang, Derek Lowe, Cliff Lee, Scot Shields and Bob Wickman. Not great. Any suggestions?
First off, how big of a league (10, 12?), what kind of league (Roto, H2H?) and what stats are used? I am very impressed that you landed such good hitting the first five rounds. I am assuming it went like this: Pujols, Hafner/Sizemore, AmRam, and Furcal? Nice. You're set for speed and power with good averages. The first thing I would do, depending on what's available, is dump Johnson and Rivera since they're starting out injured. They're not worth your IR spot, IMO. Solid pitching staff. Great high K guys with some wins thrown in with Wang but closer is where you're real hole is. Wickman's is not solid so you need to scour the waiver wire and try to find some cheap saves. Are any available? Overall, even though it's an auto-draft, I am pretty happy with this team and it could do well depending on the depth of the league. Good luck.

| Standard 5x5, 12-team roto league. There are some good offensive options on the wire; Adrian Gonzalez, Chris Burke, Jeremy Hermida. Pitchers include Cla Meredith, Chuck James, Broxton, Solomon Torres, Duchscherer, Brad Penny, Jason Jennings, Jeremy Sowers, Jake Westbrook, Daniel Cabrera, and Nate Robertson. Anyone to pick up? I'm thinking Burke and Hermida for Rivera and Johnson.

I would first shoot for Torres for saves, after that, get any combo of Broxton, Meredith and Duchscherer since they're good MRers with some possible save opps.
