deep AL 5x5 standard roto.
I have Tejada and Teixiera rotting away on the DL, and am in need of an offensive boost. Can deal these two for Swisher and Jeter.
Also have an offer of Tejada for Jenks. I'm middle of the pack in saves, just lost Reyes, and have Jones and Ray as my closers.
With Tex on his way back, I'm leaning toward the second deal. The team in front of me is one spot ahead in saves, so I could pass him and realistically move from 5th to top two in the category. However, I am in the top 2 or 3 of all other pitching, and am middle of the pack in HR, RBI and avg.
Thoughts?

Thoughts?I like Teixeira, so I'd be reluctant to trade him away for a guy like Swisher, who has excellent power but can be an anchor for your batting average. Jeter for Tejada is a tremendous trade in your favor, though, so I'd have to consider it. Perhaps if you can get a slightly better option for Tex it would be easier to endorse. I also prefer the second deal to the first one (as it is currently constructed). Jenks is a lot more valuable than Tejada right now, and I'm not sure Tejada even gives you anything more than a decent BA even if he returns on schedule. You might try to peddle Tejada a bit more, though. He still has a "name," and you might do better than Jenks. I'm not a huge fan of trading for closers, because the position is so volatile and you can generally add a new closer every so often. But I think the Jenks trade still gives you more value - so if this is the best option, go ahead.
