| Ok, here's the deal. I'm in a Yahoo H2H league where we keep one player each year. No time limits on how long you keep him. My keeper has been A-Rod for the past 4 years, and I planned on it staying that way for quite a while until I got this trade offer I get: Hanley Ramirez, Alfonso Soriano, Maglio Ordonez, John Garland I give: A-Rod, JJ Hardy, Michael Cuddyer, Roy Halladay The guy on the other side of the trade really wants A-Rod. I'd love to have those guys, but is this a good enough bunch of studs to get in return to make me want to trade away the best player in baseball forever?

i can see it as tempting, but i see a-rod being a top 3 pick (re-draft formats) for another 4+ years. with only ONE keeper who else would have that kind of value for you? i just don't see soriano or Wright making you that happy over the next few years... only another cornerstone type player would have me getting rid of A-rod (Santana or pujols and maybe not even pujols judging by this year).
if you're looking to make a trade for this year, is there maybe someone who is weak enough in teh keeper department that wright (or phillips) would get an A+ class player for this year in return? maybe a pitcher to upgrade halladay?

I don't know. YOu lose out at pitcher big time in the deal, aside from losing your A-Rod keeper. I would pass on the deal, I am just not that impressed by it given your keeper format.
