| 12 commitments, 4 openings! Come aboard, it's a perfect secondary league for all... or 1st league for Keeper/IDP newbies. Here's the rule page: http://football8.myfantasyleague.com/2007/options?L=69212&O=26 Make sure you read the bottom of the page, where it notes the "Additional League Rules".
ALSO CHECK OUT THE MESSAGE BOARD FAQ THREAD: http://football8.myfantasyleague.com/2007/mb/topic_show.pl?bid=200769212&tid=1015060 I've been commish for 8 seasons, so i have extensive experience in how to operate a fair, smooth, and fun league! Those years have taught me some valuable lessons... rules are tiresome, aggravating, and annoying. Making a league extremely detailed is fun at first, but that means making a ton of rules. After analysis of those rules, more rules are needed, and some more rules. By the time the 7th season rolled around, the league was confusing, way too complex, and generally not fun. More time was spent debating concepts, as opposed to enjoying the fantasy experience.
Most of us are self-proclaimed fantasy experts and/or involved in other more complex leagues. Enjoy wrapping your brain around the billion rules in those leagues, and consider this your easy going fantasy league. The biggest difference of BEEF is that there will be no salaries/contracts; an all Draft concept will significantly reduce the complexity. Consider this your low-maintainnance FUN FUN FUN league. Though it's low maintainnance to run, it is high involvement. All owners are active on the transactions, as well as on the message boards, because it's a fun league.
The best way to quickly sum up the league: * superior scoring system * deep rosters * $100 fee, 100% payout (after small site fee) * easy to grasp, minimal rules keeper league, most notably no salaries drop me a line joboozoso@yahoo.com
