i think made a couple of mistakes (not to mention getting locked out for one critical pick). but what do you think?

ESPN 10 teams, i had 5th overall. 2RB, 2WR, 1 each WR/RB, QB, TE, DEF/ST. standard ESPN scoring i believe.

round(overall pick) - NFL player - blathery (yeah it's a word now) comments you can read or ignore
1(5) addai - passed on gore and alexander. this was just the beginning of my risk-o-phillic behavior. [side note: gore probably regains this spot if his recovery proves to be on track. but only probably.]
2(16) travis henry- TRM "loves" him and i hope this isn't the reverse of s-jax. missed maroney by only one bloody spot.
3(25) portis- i've owned him before so i guess i'm a glutton for punishment.
4(36) ahman green- this was supposed to be bulger, but i got locked out. "if ron dayne can do it, anyone can" still doesn't mean i wanted a bench RB over a 4th starter.
5(45) donald driver - i call him double-D for the double digit scoring. i was actually still locked out for this one but at least i didn't have him ranked that far below the guy i would have picked (roy williams).
6(56) andre johnson - i love me some (AJ/plagiarism).
7(65) philip rivers - ?! panic perhaps.
8(76) deangelo williams - there's just no explaining man-love.
9(85) deion branch - do they have a new PrimeTime in in seattle?
10(96) brandon jackson - since i took risks with RB's up top, might as well load up with risks down her in the mid-rounds too.
11(105) randy mcmike - every team must have a TE
12(116) trent green - thought about losman, but i didn't know if i wanted to double up on young guns. had targeted favre as my back-up but missed him by one pick (again).
13(125) dallas clark - i guess i wasn't happy with mcmike as my starting TE since i don't always draft a back-up TE. maybe one of them with be worth anything?
14(136) Steelers DEF - might the dolphins have been a better choice a round earlier?
15(145) david akers (.)
16(156) chad pennington - he was once a stunning up and comer(sp?). and, i might be stuck playing the match-ups at QB.

praise and rips equally welcome as this was as much a test run of the new ESPN site as a gauge of my prep for more meaningful drafts in a couple of weeks. thanks in advance as always.

EDIT: did i actually say i was thinking about Losman.. i now think that i must have been bordering on insanity. i do like getting a QB with upside.. but i'm much happier with Chad (especially considering round value) than i would have been with JP.

I would not have gone RB with the first 4 pick, but it seemed to work out ok.  A backup TE in that format is not necessary, you should have used that pick for your backup QB, allowing you to use the next 3 picks on high upside RB/ WR picks and waiting until the final 2 rounds for your defense and kickers.

yep. if the draft software had been working for that 4th pick bulger would have been my pick as he was still available.

worth dropping Clark (or McMike) for Rhodes, chris Brown, priest holmes (m.bennett?), booker, toomer, reggie williams, Culpepper?! or the bills DEF (playing matchups is something i've done at times with my D)? none of them excite me but i agree i don't need to be carrying a back-up TE.

edit: added the priest holmes experiment for dallas clark. i'm also looking closely at the QB situation in Tampa. i think i might like the veteran upside of the garcia/gruden combo more than trent green (or chad?)

I'm not an expert or anything but I'll offer my opinion on some of your questions.

I would take the risk on Garcia before I would Pennington... I feel like the Jets got Thomas Jones to actually ease a lot of the pressure off Pennington. I can see Jones having a big year there with Pennington's numbers just being mediocre. You never know though... how good is Garcia going to really be with nobody to throw to? His best target is Joey Galloway. Keep your eye out for a guy like Byron Leftwich or maybe even somebody like Tavaris Jackson or Jason Campbell and see if somebody catches a hot streak during the year. I'm not saying those exact guys... just maybe somebody you see during the first couple of games on the waiver wire with some potential.

Sucks you got locked out of your fourth pick and now you're stuck with Ahman Green. Marc Bulger there would have been the perfect pick for you in that round.

Check out my post and offer any opinions or advice you may have:
