I had a free membership to premium for the last year due to having over 500 posts (I guess I don't get it renewed in spite of an additional 500 posts). But what's the benefit of paying for a premium membership when you can get the vast majority of "premium" articles on the free sections of sportsline, SportsIllustrated, or SportingNews?

Sure some of the premium articles are available elsewhere, but don't forget about the free draft kits, premium chats and other articles that aren't available on other sites. Plus you keep TMR off welfare! LOL, seriously though, I also forgot the access to the awesome Pigware software too. All for $29.99, great deal.

Ferguson v. Galloway Watch (thru week two):
Ferguson: 9 rec, 119 yds, 2 TDs
Galloway: 10 rec, 150 yds, 2 TDs

Ahhh, I was unaware that the draft kit was included. That makes a difference.. I guess I should have clicked the link when I had premium access. That would have been nice.

And the Pigware software (in my opinion) is completely useless.

We share some of our free content with other sites... wouldn't go so far as "the majority", though. All of our free content, yes... but you don't need a premium membership to read that on our site, either.

There are a few, and I do mean a FEW "premium" articles that you can get on Sportsline, but they are edited down and come out later than they do on our site. XXs & Os, for example, is just the team matchup on CBS Sportsline, whereas the Premium version includes the Love'm, Love'm not sections which got Heather nominated for three FSWA awards. (Writers, Article and Series of the year).
