In it, you can assign a certain amount of money to each position, and it will divide it based on production from the requested field at that position.

Since most leagues start only one QB, and the difference in value between top and average is much less than that of top RB and last RB taken, quarterbacks are severely devalued. This isn't a new theory; you'll find instances of "don't draft QBs in the first three rounds" prevelant throughout this and many other draft kits.

Now, the 50th ranked RB isn't going to actually cost that much, but that's what he'll produce. Natural auction inflation will push LDT, LJ and Shaun north of $70, and that money will come from the bottom of the pile. Ideally, the last RB taken will be for a buck... but he'll likely return more than that. Hence, why you should load up on at least five running backs.

If you want a better idea of what players are going for, check out the Early Auction Values article, and Average Auction Values update and cheat sheet. But realize that whoever is buying Manning at those prices is wasting precious cash better spent on some extra running backs., especially with so many committees de vigueur.

For TMR's approved top 200, check out the Print and Draft Cheat Sheet. They're not done in a single Top 200 because that's so dependant on scoring system, how many you start at each position, and size of your pool... but the general order by position never really changes (outside of PPR). A quick read of the manifesto's introduction will tell you: RB, RB, WR and explain where you should take your QB, your TE, your backups, and your Defense and Kicker.

Question on REP $$ values

How could Peyton Manning have the same $$ value ($14) as the 50th ranked runningback?

Are these $$ values relative to the position only? Or should they translate across all positions?

Also, where is the best place for to find TMR's overall rankings of the top 200 players?
