Week 9: Colston or Gonzalez?

I can't imagine Colston coming close to last week's numbers this week against the Jags, but it's hard not to start him.

However, I have Tony Gonzalez.

TEs don't have a starting position in our league, so I'd have to use him as the Flex option.

It's not a PPR league either.

My 2 starters this week at WR are Braylon Edwards and Lee Evans.

i need to pick two. i'm leaning towards berrian and welker because i'm thinking welker might have a good game with all the attention on moss, plus chambers has to rely on cleo lemmon at qb. but i don't know. thanks.

Farve has the hot hand, but is going against Washington's pass D...likely to throw a lot but also have couple picks...

Brees, biggest fantasy bust thus far...but seattle gives up lots of yards...

or is David Garrard, Philip Rivers, or Kellen Clemons worth a waiver pick this week?

Need WR/TE/DEF Opinions

Hey all! My opponent this week is in first place, so I want to do the best I can with my lineup this week. Standard Yahoo league, 6 PPTD (throw/catch/run), couple bonus points for excellence (300 yds passing, 100 yds rushing, etc.), 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex.

WR: I plan to start:
Fitz v CAR
Galloway v TEN
I have Edwards v MIA, Boldin (hurt) v CAR and Curtis @NYJ. Eagles coming off a bye, rested, against the Jets - Curtis in for Galloway maybe?

TE:
I have Shockey @ATL. Decent matchup, but Shockey hasn't done much yet this season. Amazingly, Watson is FA in our league and has been on a pretty good tear so far, but it's a tougher matchup @DAL for him this week. My opponent has Brady playing - should I pick up Watson and drop Shockey?

DEF:
My options are SD v OAK or MIN @CHI. It's one of those "they're so close, how do you choose" types of things. My guess is MIN, since the CHI QB's are bound to give up a pick or two and CHI's defense isn't what it used to be.

Brett Favre is playing lights out like he is 27 again...and chicago is worst in the league with pass defense...but it's still chicago

Brees has well...struggled...but carolina is a good matchup for Brees...weak safeties...so possible breakout game?

I'm leaning towards Manning of course, but Bly & Champ scare me a little

Leaning towards Addai and Jordan but Jones vs. Buffalo is a great matchup

Leaning towards Harrison, Berrian, Coles. I like Marshall and Branch this week though.

BTW- This looks like a pretty good team huh? (I also have Reggie Bush) Well I'm tied for 9th out of 10 so far at 1-3. We have "double headers" 3 times per year where we set a lineup for 2 games in a single week, and Westbrook kicked my butt last week.

Addai ( no brainer)
Jones-Drew @DEN
Peterson @KC
Jordan CLE
Barber III @CHI
T. Bell @PHI

I am thinking Addai (of course) , Jordan and Jones-Drew. Everyone has run on DEN so if Jones-Drew does have a good game against them he is not going to have any good games and CLE has no defense. But it is hard to sit Peterson again KC (where Benson got 100yds with Grossman as his QB).

What do you all think?

Hey everyone! Glad to be back for another exciting FF season!

I know, I know: Palmer. Lock it.

But I guess I just want a second opinion. Palmer is at home vs. BAL and Leinart is at SF. I know it's just the first game, but I'm a little up in the air if I want to "hope" for a good game vs. BAL from a better QB or take a shot at the easier SF D. I also have Boldin AND Fitz, so the hookup could be an extra bonus against a not so great team, considering Boldin and Fitz are both averaging almost 100 ypg and a TD vs. SF for their careers...

Advice is always appreciated!
