1) The Ticket- you take him for granted he's so good
2) Duncan- pissed off next year... FT% was back to normal 2nd half
3) Lebron- Will go 1st overall in some leagues
4) Dirk- value rising/blocks boards beginning to look more 'C'-like
5) Kobe- Similar #'s to Magic T-Mac?
6) Baron Davis- a healthy Baron belongs here
7) Kirilenko- expect him to do even more next year
8) T-Mac- value takes a slight hit landing in Houston
9) Ray Allen- it's hard to lose 3's w/ a healthy Allen on your team
10)Arenas- Can pulll down Trip/Doub with 5 3's and 5 steals

Just missed:
11)Peja - better off w/o C-Webb
12)Webber- may never be what he was, but can still fill up box score
13)Shaq- Days of 38/17 could return, still gotta eat that FT% though
14)Big Ben- not the same guy w/ Sheed around
15)Jermaine O'neal- could be more dominant
16)Yao- T-Mac should help
17)Pierce- needs better 2nd option
18)Marion- O runs through JJ and Amare now
19)Artest- helps in nearly every area
20)Brand- Maggette and Q have stolen some of his thunder
21)Francis- could put up filthy #'s if given free reign in Orlando

Nate,

Good list. Talking basketball in June is a great diversion from baseball. I like your top nine but I am a little skeptical of Arenas. I guess it depends what categories you are scoring in but his FG% and FT% are completely subpar. Don't get me wrong, he is a good player and a top 10 PG, but you can't build a team around him. He needs to gain some maturity. I watched him his first 2 years in Golden State and he was rumored to be a disruption behind the scenes.

No, no, it's true. He'll murder you in TO's as well. And it's entirely true that Big Ben, Pierce or Marion would probably be 'safer' picks at that point in the draft. MNS just likes Gilby to end up ranked in the top 15 next year. He'd be a nice bargain at any point in the 2nd round, and could probably be had in the 3rd in many leagues.

I think Stevie Franchise deserves consideration ahead of Arenas as well. The reigns will be off and he will put up more numbers in Orlando, including TOs sadly. With Jameer Nelson as back-up PG, expect to see a lot of Steve at the 2-Guard spot as well, pushing up his scoring. I expect about 24 ppg from Francis. If Arenas stays healthy all year, he may equal Francis, but I doubt it. That said, Arenas is a great fantasy player, but I'd draft Stevie before him nex year.

All's well that ends well.
