Think Andre Igoudala goes top 5?

I'm an Arizona alum and watched pratically all their games the last few years. (yes, even the Seton Hall debacle this season).

Dude can seriously ball. Best prospect to come out of the school since Richard Jefferson.

As a diehard Bulls fan, I SERIOUSLY hope they don't take Deng. As you guys have mentioned, has there ever been anyone more overhyped? Gimme Igoudala or Gordon.. I know we already have a quality PG in Hinrich, but I wouldn't mind putting two great talents in the backcourt together. Heck, Jamal Crawford isn't exactly a 'big' shooting guard himself.

I wouldn't mind seeing them trade Chandler OR Crawford and their #3 pick for the #1 pick and a decent bench/role player.. grab Okafor and be done with it.

I think Igoudala might be the most talented player in the draft. Will he go this high? Probably not but teams who pass on him will definitely regret it. He's got crazy hops, is an excellent passer, runs the court like a fucking deer, and will develop a jumpshot.

I agree. I hope Chicago finds a way to trade down to #5, 6, or 7 and grab Igoudala. I'd rather have him than Deng or any of the HS's up for grabs. As a Bulls fan, I'm burnt out on HS guys, regardless of ability. Ability only goes so far.. heart, desire, and work ethic can take you much further, ask Ron Artest, who was the 16th pick that had trouble fouling out and couldn't shoot a jumper for his life. Look at him now.

At the risk of belaboring what was a minor point in a good post, isn't Jamal Crawford like, 6'7?

With all their young talent and that high draft pick the Bulls shouldbe able to facilitate a trade for a veteran star, but nobody wants to play in Chicago. Even Jalen Rose ran screaming for Toronto. They're probably just as well off to take Iguodala (had to've spelled that wrong) rather than blow their wad on some 2nd rate star (because, again, nobody good wants to play there).

I guess I have to disagree.. Chicago is one of the biggest sports markets on the planet, along with New York and LA and a few others. I don't think Chicago itself is the problem -- they just need a base to stand on. In other words -- they need a superstar. Something solid, something you can count on every time you go to the stadium to see a game. A face you can stamp on the Bulls franchise.. much like Urlacher with the Bears. The Bulls don't have an identity, and that's what Paxson is working on.

Okafor would have been a blessing, but I would be extremely pleased with a Ben Gordon pick and a trade for Al Harrington with our other pick, especially if the Pacers could tack-on a decent bench guy (Foster?).. Bird is in love with Luke Jackson, whom the Bulls are looking at drafting as well.

It'll be interesting, and I think we'll see a ton of deals made tonight.

Oh, and by the way.. the Crawford size thing -- I wasn't referring to his height (6'5" I'm pretty sure) as much as I was his weight (very skinny) and his defensive abilities (lacking).. defense is usually the concern when playing two small guards together.
