From Yahoo!: Head coach Dennis Green concluded the Cardinals minicamp on Thursday by announcing that Emmitt Smith would be the starting running back heading into training camp. Green demoted Marcel Shipp to backup duty. The Arizona Republic reported the change, but Green was apparently not available for comment.
So much for Green touting how well Shipp will do this year.

I expect Shipp to have the job by the end of the year.

Good for Emmitt, though he should have retired a Cowboy []

Emmitt is old, ineffective and brittle. He will not sustain the starting position by Week 5. I would knock Shipp down a bit on my draft board, but not too far. He is still an excellent "plug-in" player when injuries escalate.

Yeah, I would still take Shipp over Emmitt. But, by the way, if you want to talk sleepers.. the entire Arizona offense. Minnesota west. They will be chucking it all over the place. Great offensive line, two good WR, solid running game... McCown's a great late pick. TMR

Yeah, their WR's will be good, but Green made a horrible choice with Emmitt... Shipp gets the shaft every year in Arizona...
