I get so sick of the race coverage between NBC and FOX - I don't know whose worse.
Why didn't they show the "kiss" yesterday? They went to an early commercial break so they could air the rest of the race without any commercials, but they cut away at the end of the race before the kiss of the bricks and any VL celebration.
I'm sure some of it had to do with how long Tony took driving around the track and climbing the fence, but dang.. I was looking forward to that. I think that is a cool tradition.
Did anyone see Victory Lane last night on Speed? Did they show it there? I went to a movie and missed it!!!!

FOX ruins everything they touch...... especially baseball.
In this case concerning Nascar I still go with NBC. I like the fact they do through the field and every driver gets mentioned at least 2 or 3 times. Unlike FOX who gives you the Dale Jr update and the latest on the new jiffy john at Hendrick Motorsports each and every week.
Darrell Waltrip and Jeannie Zelasko should be dragged out back and shot.

I was told that they never show the kiss of the bricks on tv. I guess I was remembering when Kevin Harvick kissed the bricks and I saw it right after the race was over. They say he is the only one who did it right away, and most of the time, this happens after the race, after VL hat dance, etc.. etc..
I watch Victory Lane on Sunday evenings on SPEED, so maybe that is where I have seen the kiss before and just thought I was seeing it during post race hype.
I definitely think they should do the kiss first thing - race is over, stop the car at the bricks, get out, make kissy face - then do the rest of the VL celebration.
