they give vernon wells
i give jose reyes
jeter is my starting ss, unless reyes' actions tell me otherwise, in outfield i have crisp francoeur and mench so wells would be a slight improvement. what should i do?

| Hold Reyes. Far more valuable than Wells in my book.

Ditto with Ogre on Reyes having the most value of the two players.
I think you would be giving up too much.
Now, that is all based on if you have a util, mi, or if slot for reyes to start in.

Agree with Ogrechow, keep Reyes. From what you are telling us, you are already good for power and there's no need to improve there with Wells.

are you saying that you can't play Reyes at all because you have Jeter already at SS? if so then i'd look to move one of your SS for an upgrade elsewhere. if you can put both in your lineup though then i'd pass on this deal and stick with what you have.

I would trade Jeter for someone instead of Reyes if you could. Reyes SBs will give him a great value. Both guys are in strong lineups so there shouldn't be too great a drop off in runs. Jeter would give you a little better power numbers, but power is not your main concern here. I would hold reyes and explore a trade. yankees fans always overrate Jeter as a Fantasy SS, so maybe find one in your league and make a deal.
