Anyone else see LarryBrown on Letterman? He seems to not like Darko much. He said he wasn't as mature as his 10 year old. Ouch, looks like he really liked that draft pick.

I saw that, i think it was more in the interest of humor than bashing his pick.

There was an article in ESPN the Mag before last year's draft that had an interview with Darko because 'Bron had already been done to death. It was pretty evident even then that the guy was an idiot (or at least immature, hey, he was like 17). He had a couple quotes that were like, "I hear in America, the women love basketball players. And I love women. I'm really looking forward to that."

Sounded to MNS at the time that Darko was pretty much a lost cause from the beginning, but there's still time. It's not hard to imagine him as a Derrick Coleman-type player who, in the waning years of his career, finally gets his head on straight and plays some decent ball.

Jay Bilas was on the radio today talking about him and about drafting "projects," in general. Word is, Darko will eventually be studly and that no one in the know has even considered him possibly being a bust yet.
