I'm looking to pick up Kris Benson for one of my starting pitchers. I have; Santana, Burnett, GArland, Glavine, and McCarthy. I also have Street, Mesa, and 2 pylons as my relievers and closers. Any advice on who I should drop to pick up Benson? Should I even bother? I'm also pretty deep @ OF so I could drop say, Reggie Sanders?

Thanks.

Dax.

first of all, welcome to the boards Dax.

i think Benson is one of the most inconsistent starters in MLB. he'll be staying FARRRRR away from my team. i definitely wouldnt drop Sanders for him or any of the pitchers you listed. i don't know who your pylons are but i'm inclined to say that i'd rather go with a pylon than Benson.

I agree Benson has been inconsistant but he does has some wicked stuff - he just has not been able to put it all together yet. I think this just might be the year he does with Mazzone guiding the O's staff.

I'd take a chance on him and did. Spot start him agianst weaker opponets till he proves himself. I would not drop Sanders for him. I'd consider dropping one of those pylons for him if your not desperate for saves.

Plus his wife is hot !!
