I'm a little torn about this one. It's a deal i probably would've taken earlier in the season, but now that it's getting down to crunch time, i don't know. The offer:
HIS Crosby and Frolov for MY Zetterberg
I'm in 2nd, he's in 4th, in a rotisserie league (G, A, PIM, +/-, GWG, PPP, and goalie stuff...). Problem is, we've both gone over with the maximum games played (him more than me), and have a limited number of games left for each position. That means, i can't afford to put someone on the "ice" who is not producing. Zetterberg's pretty hot now, and my gut tells me to keep him. However, i figured i'd appeal to the talented one and his followers.
Wish i knew how to post a link, but basically the teams are as follows:
ME:
C: Datsyuk, H. Sedin
LW: Naslund, Rucinsky, Zetterberg, Heatley (swing)
RW: Sullivan, Hejduk, Heatley (swing)
D: Chara, Visnovsky, Timmonen, Salo, Mara, Kubina
G: DiPietro, Esche, Graham, Cujo, Huet
(the reason that i've got so many D and G is because i messed up at the start of the season and put to many forwards out each day; hence my problems now. Hey, i'm new to this)
HIM:
C: Crosby, Savard, Demitra (swing)
LW: Frolov, Cole, Ovechkin, Bouchard (swing)
RW: Afinogenov, Bouchard (swing), Demitra (swing)
D: Corvo, Kaberle, Markov, Stuart, Desjardins
G: Hasek, Biron, Lundqvisk, Morrison, Thomas
It's kind of a wonky league, i admit. Only 8 teams, and nobody very knowledgable about this fantasy stuff, myself included.
Anyways, just wanted to know your collective thoughts. I need maximum points with minimum games played. Will Zetterberg keep up the pace for the rest of the season? Will Frolov return to his Oct./Nov. pace? Will Crosby decide to end the season with a bang or just give up? What are the crystal balls telling you?
Any thoughts or opinions are, as always, appreciated.

i don't have a crystal ball but i will give you the evil eye if you cross me.
i like this deal a good bunch for you. Crosby alone is enough for you to give up Zett so the fact that you also get Frolov makes the deal nice if you can figure out who your drop would be. who would that be? i don't see a forward to drop there in order to add Frolov. can you drop a D or a G?
if you can figure out who to drop then i'd make the deal, as long as the drop isn't a forward. another C like Crosby will help you more than playing Sedin fulltime and you can afford the hit in talent at LW.

I'd pull the trigger on that deal and start to look to flip players that you can no longer use (because you've reached the games played limit) to improve your goaltending.
Mind you, don't trade a top talent (like Heatley) to someone chasing you in goals or +/-
I'll give you the same advice my dad gave me: You're as dumb as a mule and twice as ugly. If a strange man offers you a ride, I say take it.
