What happened with the 31 car? They had great practice speeds but a really lousy qualifing run...does anyone know went wrong?

The track went away from the guys who qualified late.....I heard second hand the track got slick late in the day.

Burton ran in the top 6 in happy hour and teammate Harvick also ran well in practice..... I expect a solid run by both teams tonight.

Alot of guys older guys like Jarrett and Rudd prefer to start back of pack at superspeedways so as to avoid an early big one.
