I'm sure you heard the announcement of Michael Waltrip moving over to Bill Davis Racing next year. What is he thinking? Bill Davis racing hasn't won a race since Ward Burton won the Daytona 500 - have they???

Supposedly, people think he did this so he can be the voice for Toyota when they enter the cup market in '07. Well, I hope they give him some good race cars. Because until then, I honestly don't see him doing any better there than he is already doing at DEI.. At least at DEI, he has 4 chances a year to win a restrictor plate race. At BDR.. I am guessing he is going to have zero chances. Guess I'll have to see if I need to order a crow pie later.

And if you haven't heard, he is asking Teresa Earnhardt for the number 15 - since he is taking Napa with him he wants to maintain the #15. I say - Don't give it to him.. ha ha ha.. I'm just being a bitch! LOL...

I say give it to him.

Waltrip and the # 15 go hand in hand. I guess I'm a little surprised NAPA is going with Waltrip rather than staying with DEI. That means Waltrip is a pretty marketable guy, even if he only wins once in a blue moon.

Not too surprising that NAPA is going with him. His commercials go over well and he's a good spokesman for them. Anymore, a racer's personality is almost as important to sponsor's as his driving ability.

I'm not surprised Napa went with Waltrip - every 3rd word out of Waltrip's mouth is Napa..... the guy is the closest think to a walking commercial you will find.

Bill Davis Racing has been struggling to land consistant big money sponsorship for his 2nd team for years - so I am sure he will take Waltrip with open arms since he is bringing Napa with him - otherwise I believe Waltrip becomes full time Busch Series fodder.

Plus if I was in the big chair at DEI and had Truex waiting in the wings - I get him a premier series ride before someone else swoops in and steals him.

I also make Mikey PAY for that #15 he wants so bad - screw him !
