Call me selfish, but I think its lame there is no cup race this weekend so the Buscwhackers can go to Mexico City to race. They should have a break between race 26 and 27, just in time for the chase to start. That's my opinion!

I hate when there isn't a race on. I'm lost.

I agree with you - its to early for a break.

Least you have already got to go to a race and have your driver win one..... I have to wait till May for the 600 and I already have the itch bad.

Miss our Rockingham race .... 90 minutes away .... HEY - Give us our race back !!!

You got to go to what was supposed to be my first race of the year - damn left coaster.

Hee Hee.. I agree. Bring back the Rock! But even if there are empty seats at Cali, they won't bring back that track.

I'll be in Charlotte the week of the 600. I'm there every year at that time. Sometimes I make it to the race, sometimes I don't. If I'm not at the race, I'll be on Lake Norman. :-)

I hate it that they are taking races away from the small tracks for the cookie cutters. When they built our track in Kansas City, I wish it would have been a 1/2 mile track. They can get just as many seats around a bullring (Bristol @ 150,000+), and the racing is a hell of a lot more exciting. (Just my opinion)

BW .... is Dave going to be with you at the 600 ?

I'd really like the chance to meet you and/or him. Lets swap cell #'s and I'll try to catch up with you at the Kenseth trailer some time during the day - if we can work it out - things have a way of going crazy on race day but sure would like to at least try to catch up with you all.

We usually throw in on an RV for the day with a few other couples and have a big throw down at the RV parking lot off speedway Blvd - that way we can party down and not have to do the driving thing after the race.

Your both welcome to come hang out and grill/party on race day before and/or after the race - its a long day so if you need a place to hang out for awhile we got you covered.

I also agree with Magoo ......I prefer short track racing - The "Rock" got screwed in the same way N.Wilksboro did. At the very least Rockingham should of been given a warm weather date - throw some lights up at the track and have a SAT night race in June or July and that place would be sold out like Richmond and Bristol.

Is the Kansas City track the Gateway International Speedway where the Busch cars race?

David, I'll let you know. I'm going solo this year. I haven't decided if I'm going to the race or not. We might just go to the Steak and Lube near Concord Mills Mall and watch it there - or somewhere else where it will be a fun time.

Kansas Speedway is the Kansas City track. Our race is the 2nd weekend in October, and it's teh 2nd race in the Chase if I remember right. Gateway Internation Speedway is the track in St Louis which is about 4 hours east of here.
