These are my first impressions of the new design's appearance. First, writing a post in this one-line window does not lend itself to sensible composition. It's usual in writing to see at least paragraph. When I tried entering a new paragraph my text deleted. I see that the text is creeping up, but I can only see a line at a time. [New 'graph now] Genereally, I think site needs more color. It's appearance looks too washed out - there's too much white background; hence, too much glare on the eyes. The contrasting beige isn't the best contrast to whiteness. (Granted, I may be reacting to the change over from the more colorful original site.) in particluar I feel the functionality buttons on the message board should be punched-up from the blue pastel to darker tone, as they to me are not easy to read. [New graph] I just tried a spell check, but it does not seem to be yet working.
