The flashing WINNER WINNER WINNER ad for the plasma TV is VERY annoying. Not only is it a pain in and of itself, it interferes with the refresh rate on my computer making the letters I type in the messages here take a moment to appear.

Yeah I can scroll down to get it off my screen but that is anoying too.

And lastly, you know its a scam, everybody has "won" there is no real claim number that makes any difference. Really drags down the reputation of TMR IMO to have crap like that on the site.

I am one who DOES click on adds often if it is interesting, But I will NEVER click on that one.

We sell the ad space, not the ad itself.  We did request no gambling ads (yes, to protect ourselves from legal ramifications) and to keep the flash ads to a minimum, but the site's got to eat.

Appreciate that the annoyance factor keeps you from clicking, and frankly, that's the best reaction to an ad you don't like.   If enough people ignore it, it gets noticed and pulled.  If it keeps getting clicked, then the advertiser gets the attention it wants and the site gets credit for the clicks, allowing us to continue to support our devellopment.

And hey... it's it's giving you a headache, try HeadOn.  Apply directly to the forehead!  HeadOn.  Apply directly to the forehead!  HeadOn.  Apply directly to the forehead!

FYI - After countless days of research, I've actually completed many of these types of sites. I can honestly say that I have gotten many "freebies" as a result. A sample:

42" Plasma LG TV
$1,000 Check
2 $1,000 Pre-Paid Visas
20" Sharp Aquos TV/Monitor
Multiple $100 and $50 Pre-Paid Visas.

Most of these sites aren't scams, but they are worthy of many hours doing research for to determine if they are legit. You are right in saying the flashing in annoying. I've gotten used to scrolling down as soon as I log in to the site.

PS - I just clicked on the link to see what the offer was. Not good, IMO. 10 offers and refer two households to do the same. There are much easier ones out there.

Easy solution: Firefox.

Seriously, the best browser ever (free, of course). Install the Adblock and Flashblock extensions, and you will never be bothered by adds again.

I got a case (50) of free video Ipods.

The only problem with Mozilla is that you can't run a lot of "live scoring" sites.

Hey wolf - I'm totally serious. These sites are all over the web, however, they have recently been getting very difficult to complete. About a year ago and before, these sites were cake to do.
