Hey guys and gals, this is my nba.com fantasy squad. I know that I am very heavy on PG. I am in the process of trading Mike James and Sam Cassell for Baron Davis. But I need some ideas if this is a decent squad. This is my first time at Fantasy League. Thanks!

Starting line up
PG - Steve Nash
SG - Raja Bell
G - Stephen Jackson
GF - Vince Carter
SF - Paul Pierce
PF - Chris Webber
F - Antawn Jamison
FC - Charlie Villanueva
C - Ben Wallace
UTL - Rudy Gay

Bench - Brevin Knight, Mike James, Sam Cassell, Adam Morrison, Tyson Chandler

My initial reaction is thats a lot of guards in general. Your guards all rebound at least a little so you probably can compete at that. Ben Wallace is a little wierd because your team is horrible at blocks outside of him and since you are so heavy on guard your ft% is pretty high outside of him. Your team should be able to do very well in 3s, assists, steals and pts. Turnovers, and blocks are categories that you will probably be on of the worst in your league at. You might be able to be middle of the pack in fg%. If you trade for baron davis you will clinch 3s and assists for sure with some over kill (which is good). But, you will be giving up on ft% and not helping fg%. I would consider trading Ben Wallace for a guard who has good ft%, can get steals, can score just a little more than Ben, and hopefully can shoot around 45% or better. If you do this you will be giving up on rebounds, but you will be getting ft% and help in points. Meaning your team should win points, steals, assists, 3s, and ft%, tank in rebounds, blocks, and TO and possibly compete in fg%.

Well Baron Davis has just been aquired and Wallace is being shopped at present to see what kinda deals I can get for him. I'm thinking about waiving Brevin Knight and going to find a 2/3 man that can score and steal (even if it is only 10 and 1.5 a night)

Now the squad is:

Starting line up
PG - Steve Nash
SG - Raja Bell
G - Baron Davis
GF - Vince Carter
SF - Paul Pierce
PF - Chris Webber
F - Antawn Jamison
FC - Charlie Villanueva
C - Ben Wallace
UTL - Rudy Gay

Bench - Brevin Knight, Stephen Jackson, Adam Morrison, Tyson Chandler
