we play QB, WR, WR, RB, TE, W/T, W/R...i was contemplating trading McNabb and someone else...i'm looking at possibly trying to get back either:
S. Alexander & A. Johnson
or
T. Barber & R. Moss
which of these two packages look better? (is it even worth attempting to make an offer?) who should i try to package with McNabb? my roster shakes out as follows:
D. Brees
C. Johnson
T. Holt
F. Gore
J. Wiggins
E. Kennison
A. Bryant
T. Jones
D. McNabb
K. Johnson
the team currently sits at 4-4 (7th place) with the 4th highest point total overall in a 14 team league...point system is as follows:
Passing Yards (25 yards per point; 10 points at 300 yards)
Passing Touchdowns (6)
Interceptions (-3)
Rushing Yards (10 yards per point; 10 points at 100 yards)
Rushing Touchdowns (6)
Reception Yards (5 yards per point; 10 points at 100 yards)
Reception Touchdowns (6)
Return Yards (10 yards per point)
Return Touchdowns (6)
2-Point Conversions (2)
Fumbles (-2)

I'd be a little fearful of trying to trade for Shaun Alexander right now, unless you were looking for a gamble that would vault your team back into contention. If you focus on Barber and Moss - you could make a fair offer of McNabb plus one of your three lesser WRs (Kennison, Bryant or K.Johnson) for them. You'd be getting a better option at WR, and improving your RBs. But you'd be totally reliant upon Brees then. I'm not sure I like that. What about T.Jones plus C.Johnson instead? You probably can get by with just two RBs considering you play one per week. I'd rather weaken my WR and mix and match there instead of weakening my options at QB. But don't trade Holt. He's possibly the #1 WR the rest of the way.
