Deep 16-team x 30-player (20 active) roto keeper league.
Categories are F-goals, F-assists, F-plus/minus, F-PIMs, D-goals, D-assists, D-PIMs (note no D-plus/minus), GAA, and G-"points" (3xW + 2xSO).

Normally I'd want to keep Carle until he's pried from my cold, dead fingers, but with only Brodeur and Toivonen as goalies (max 4 per team, 2 active), I feel a need for a Nabokov (especially if he ends up as a G1 someplace).

I'm leading my league in D-assists, but I'm weak in D-PIMs and average in the goalie categories (thanks to Toivonen).

Active D-men:
Lidstrom $7.00, 2nd yr
Carle $1.50, 2nd yr
Numminen $0.40, 2nd yr
Pothier $0.10, 2nd yr
Foote $0.30, 1st yr
Bieksa $1.30, 1st yr

On bench:
Berard, $3.20, 1st yr
Cairns, $1.50, 1st yr
Pock, $0.70, 1st yr

Nabokov is $2.60 and un-keepable, Aucoin is $1.20, 1st yr.

Should i just accept these 2 for Carle? Should I counter by asking for O'Brien ($1.50, 1st yr) or Boynton ($0.60, 1st yr) instead of Aucoin? Do I activate Cairns now for Foote or Bieksa? Will Berard eventually replace the D-offence I might lose from Carle?

I would not trade Carle for a goalie you HOPE may become a G1.

Carle is going to be a stud all year, Nabakov has not even been that impressive when he starts. He will suck in Boston if he ever gets there. Boston is going to get crushed in that division.
