Marion Barber III vs NO

Tiki Barber @ CAR

Cedric Houston vs BUF

Cedric Benson @ STL

I've been playing MBIII and Tiki, and I'm a believer in "dance with who brung ya", but I don't think Tiki is an automatic start anymore given that he's got a broken finger and doesn't get to sniff the goal line.  I figure MBIII is a must-start with the way he's been playing.  So it comes down to Tiki and the Cedrics.  What do you say, sportsfans?  This is standard ESPN league with no PPR.

Definitely Barber first, then I would actually go with Benson, because I think he will get at least a score (and hopefully yards against the terrible Rams run D).  Tiki is dead to me and even though I like Houston, the fact that all 3 jets rb are gonna be active is causing me to stay away.  Just a hunch on Benson.  I've got a few similar decisions this week and probably won't decide till 12:55 tomorrow.  Good luck

Actually I might start Tiki if you get a point for every 10 yards rushing (I don't know how espn standard scoring works), but given the fact that he is very unlikely to see the endzone, he has very little value in a league with 20 or 25 yards per point.

Actually, I like Houston as the #1 choice here. I think he gets a lot of carries, and since he is going up against BUF, I think he can do some damage. Then I think Barber just barely beats out Tiki for second. I think Tiki can get up near 100 yards total (rushing and receiving), but with no TDs. M.Barber, though, should get a score, which would vault him ahead of Tiki even with 50-60 yards or so. He's got the upside since he has the chance to score TDs - and I think there will be plenty of scoring in the DAL/NO matchup.

I agree, Barber III and Houston

Don't be absurd. Tiki has to start if he's playing. Tiki and Houston for me.

Well, I ended up going with my gut and started Houston and MBIII.  Houston got me 5 points, Marion got me zip and Tiki ended up scoring 12 points on my bench.  It ended up not really costing me though as I had Brees going at QB.  (Woohoo!)  Thanks for the input, guys!

(We'll have to see what Ced Benson does against the Rams tonight...)
