I was taking in the World Juniors gold medal game this afternoon at a fine local establishment (Windows on the World at "York, The Hotel" -- I'm not making that up) here in the future home of the Winnipenguins, and during the post-game interview with local boy Jonathan Toews on TSN, he seemingly said "we played a f**king great game".
Did I hear that right? Did all of us in the bar hear that right? I think so.
No biggie really (and certainly no fantasy significance). Just looking for independent confirmation before my b-day party tonight, and the bets I'll be making...

I watched the interview this afternoon, but I don't remember hearing him drop it. Even if he did, those three shoot-out goals against the yanks ought to give him the right to punch kittens, not to mention that penalty shot in the round robin. Too bad pittsburgh didn't draft him, then when they come to winnipeg Toews would be playing for his home town. Go Winnipenguins!
