I'm playing on a roto league, 10 players total. Here is my line up

PG - Arenas
SG - Jason Terry
G - Ginobili
SF - Andres Nocioni (Pierce will be my starter once he gets back)
PF - Rasheed Wallace
F - David West
C - Dwight Howard
C - Alonzon Mourning
Util - Tony Parker
Utl - Andre Miller
BN - Nick Collison
BN - Paul Pierce
BN - Shaq

My score (out of 10) is: FG%-5, FT%-1, 3PTM-10, PTS-6, REB-6, AST-4, STL-5, BLK-8, TO-2. The fight is close for STL (only 8 out of first place). Besides that, on rebounds I'm 150 out of secound, on PTS I'm about 200 of first, AST I'm 110 for third, and blocks, 35 for first. 3PTM, I'm 40 ahead, I used to be up 80 when Pierce was playing. I just traded a center for Andre Miller.

I have 47 poins and I'm tied for 6 place (with 411 games). 1st has 65.5 (423 games), 2nd-59.5 (423 games), 3rd-57 (404 games), 4th-51.5 (416 games), 5th-49 (397).

Thanks in advance for the help.

I'd suggest determining which categories you are going to focus on. The obvious one to start with is STL, since you mention that this is the tightest one. I am wondering whether you can gain some points in FT%, or whether you are too far out. If so, I'd focus on both percentages and STL. If I'm right, then the first guy to move is Shaq. Wait for him to have a good game, then start peddling him to teams that need REB and BLK. If it helps, offer Mourning as part of a "package" to get a better player (this way they have Shaq's replacement if he has trouble with his knee). Can you try to get Dwayne Wade for Dwight Howard? You'd be giving up FG%, but Wade would get you more STL (2.1 to 0.8 per game) and a much better FT% (81% to 63%). The best overall target might be Shawn Marion, who shoots 52% from the field, 84% from the line, and gets 2.1 STL per game. If these are indeed the categories to focus on, chat up Marion's owner and see what you can do.

Thanks for the help. I talked to the guy that owns Marion before, and he would be willing to trade him for Howard, he also owns Deron Williams, and he would be willing to do a two for one trade. FG% I have .470 , first place has .491, but second has .480. On FT% I have .756 and first has .808. What do you think? I also could try trading Artest for Jason terry, than I would play pierce at SG and Artest at SF.

Foster, is that a 2 for 1 for Williams, with Marion for Howard a seperate deal, or is that Marion and Williams for Howard?  If it's the later it'd be a crime not to run with it.

Honour your pain, embrace your fantasy
Trust inner eyes, through waste they'll lead the way
Sail on the wave that brings yourself to perfection
And life'll let you see.

The one for Marion eould be D-Howard and Jason Terry for Marion. He said he can't give up Williams because of his assists. But I don't know if I would be giving up too much. What do you guys think?
