I'm in serious need of some help. I wanted to give myself some stiffer competition this year, so I joined a mlb sanctioned keeper league with 11 other serious managers. It's a standard 5x5 roto league. I came out of my draft thinking I might be a little short on power, but now I'm in serious trouble. I'm almost last in R, RBI, HR and AVG, but 10th overall thanks to my pitching. I think I've got plenty of speed, but lacking in most other areas.
C - I Rod
C - Buck
1b - Teix
2b - Roberts
SS - Rollins
3b - Zimmerman
OF - Soriano
OF - Rios
OF - Patterson
OF - Church
OF - Rowand
UT - Tracy
CI - Sweeney
MI - DeRosa
BN - Gordon
BN - Lind
BN - Barfield
BN - Pie
SP - Schilling, Haren, Verlander, Gorzelanny, Hirsh, Meche
RP - Wheeler, Jenks, Jones, Aardsman, Ryan - DL
No trades in our league so far, but I feel like I've got to do something. Not much on the wire for offense (Mench, Jenkins, Kearns, Sanders, Bradley, Nady, Uribe) or pitching (Grienke, Gaudin, Lohse, Blanton, O. Perez).
Do I ride it out and hope Teix and Soriano carry me, or do I look to make a move now before it gets worse? Thanks.
