19-team league help again. I traded with this guy earlier in the year and ended up with a pretty good ended of the deal (Teahen/Zambrano for Gordon/Markakis/Wickman). He offered his Markakis/Lackey to me for Reyes/Abreu, which I promptly rejected. I think I can get a good counter in, but need some help coming up with one. I'd like to improve my catcher (have Paulino, he has Barrett) and closers (his only one is Wickman). I'm also interested in his Derrek Lee, but need to open some OF room for Sheff to move there.
Teams are listed below:
My team: C - Paulino, 1B - Sheffield, 2B - Kendrick, 3B - Braun, SS - Reyes, OF - Dunn, Abreu, Ibanez, UT - Wigginton, BN - Jenkins, Upton, Teahen; SP - Zambrano, Peavy, Bush, Gozelanny, Slowey, Gallardo, Hughes (DL), RP - Valverde, Wheeler, Gregg
His team: C - Barrett, 1B - D. Lee, 2B - B. Roberts, 3B - Reynolds, SS - Tulowitzki, OF - Victorino, Pence, Pie, UT - Dobbs, BN - Markakis, G. Anderson, Gordon, Garko, R. Johnson (DL); SP - Lackey, R. Hill, Washburn, D. Davis, Bailey, Pedro Martinez, RP - Wickman, Mota

He needs OF help, so I am not sure why he is offering Markakis. The only closer you have with trade vlaue is Valverde, but with Wheeler losing his job, I do not think trading his would be a good idea. If Upton qualifies at 3B then he would be a good player for you to trade, but he probably does not. Try Wigginton and Abreu for Lee and see what happens.

why are you starting kendrick over upton? and for that matter, braun instead of teahen? if anything you could try trading off some of your strengths, like 2b(you ave kendrick, wigginton and upton, maybe try trading one or two of those to a team that needs a 2b. That is my best suggestion. If you want to try to sell high, i guess your best option is upton. I dont know what the other owner was thinking, even if you were to sell reyes for cheap, if you are not going to get a ss in return(like a markakis/lackey he was offering), then you have no SS none of the MI you have wiggington, upton and kendrick, qulify at ss. At any rate, try to find an owner who needs a 2b, and trade for a SP. or really you could try trading teahen or braun for pitching help.your offense looks good to me for a 19 team league, you could use another arm or 2 on SP imo.
