Background
8 team league roto, im in 4th place with 71 points. 3rd has 78, 2nd has 83, and first has 90.
Stats are: R, 2B, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP, SLG and IP, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, K/BB
My team
C - Brian McCann
1B - Justin Morneau
2B - Dan Uggla
3B - Chipper Jones
SS - Derek Jeter
OF - Grady Sizemore, Alex Rios, Chone Figgins
Util - Adrian Gonzalez
Bench - Andruw Jones
SP - Joe Blanton, Matt Cain, Tom Gorzelanny, Rich Harden, John Lackey, Tim LIncecum, Tim Hudson, Kelvim Escobar
RP - Billy Wagner, Matt Capps
DL - Phil Hughes
The Ideas
1) Do you like Griffy or Victorino over any of my starting OF?
2) What on earth am I going to do with Andruw Jones?
3) Should I bother with Lincecum, Harden, or Germano (this is a non-keeper and there are probably better options in FA) and just go for a closer from FA, because with some more saves I could easily gain some more points (tied for 3rd in saves)?
For a taste of what is out there as SP replacements: Marcum, Snell, Francis, Buerhle, Garland, Billingsley, Gaudin. As for closers: Valverde, Borowski, Gregg, Accardo, and Street and Myers (if they ever get back). And for purposes of K/BB improvement: Rafael Betancourt.
The Bigger Trade-Related Idea
I have a good standing in R, 2B, RBI, HR, and SB (3rd, 3rd, 4th, 4th, and 2nd), but doing poor in BA, OBP, SLG (7th, t-4th, 6th). I'm solid in IP, W, and Ks (1st, 2nd, and 2nd), but once again my averages suck. Last in ERA (4.02, if I could get in the 3.80s or 3.70s I could gain a lot of points), 4th in WHIP (1.30, third place being 1.24), and 7th in K/BB (2.35, could gain some points by moving into the 2.50s and even more if I got close 3, but chances are slim of that I think).
There is a very big Yankee (very big....very very big) that I am considering dealing with in this trade. I am thinking Derek Jeter and one of my pitchers (I'm thinking Hudson maybe) for either Takashi Saito or Carlos Guillen and one of his pitchers (he has Haren, Carlos Zambrano, Bedard (I might be willing to throw out my Oriole prejudice...if there bullpen could hold a game), and Sabathia).
If I got for Saito instead of Guillen, there are plenty of viable replacements for Jeter in FA such as Edgar Renteria, Orlando Cabrera, Tulowitzk, Furca, and if I felt like killing the Yankee inside me, Pedroia. Which of these do you like best and do you like any of them better than Guillen?
So basically, is this a smart deal for me? Which of my SP should I use in the deal and based on my needs, which of his SP should I target (preferably a ranking of the 4 in case the first one doesn't work out)? And should I go for Saito or Guillen?
And if happen to see anything else in my roster that needs fixing, go ahead and throw that in too.

| 1. No 2. Hold and hope. 3. Harden might start Saturday so hang onto him, if you can get a closer the I suppose dropping Lincecum isn't a horrible option -- you do not show Germano on your roster. I would deal Jeter for Saito and a starter, I think realistically Bedard is the pitcher to expect in return.

| Jeter alone might be able to land you Saito/Bedard like dub suggests, if you offer up Hudson too then shoot for Saito/Haren. i agree w/ everything else dub put down there.

Oops, well Germano should be there 'cause he is on my roster. So what do you suggest I should do with him?
Only because this guy is nuts/feeling the effects of jet lag from China/die-hard Yankee fan, I will try Jeter for Saito and a starting pitcher, but I will try a bit higher than Bedard first, just in case. So who would you say is the best pitcher out of Zambrano, Sabathia (i'm loving his K/BB), and Haren?
