I'm in a 12-team, NL-Only Ultra keeper league. I am currently in 6th place, and nine points out of first place. Here is my team:

My 10-player reserve roster only has one player of note: Juston Upton $2 (drafted 2006). The other guys are in the minors or injured.
I have been offered four players for Pence: Brad Penny $14 (OPT), Brian Fuentes $3 (OPT), Dmitri Young $14 (drafted 2007), Dave Roberts $17 (drafted 2006).
Obviously, I need pitching help. I am not sure I trust Penny in the second half after watching him tank last year. Corpas might get a shot at the closers role in Colorado. On the other hand, I need saves and the stats Penny could potential bring. I think Pence is going to be a stud, so I am hesitant to part with him. I think I might have a better chance at competing next year although I lose Peavy and D. Lee plus that bum Lidge.
What do you guys think? Should I make the trade? Thanks.

I agree that Penny will not be as good in the second half as he has been in the first half, his luck most likely will not last all year, still, he should not be nearly as bad as he was the 2nd half last season. The players you would be dropping to accomadate the extra players factor in here, but even considering them, this deal gives you a better chance to win this year. Considering how close you are to first place, I would make the deal and try to win this year.
