12 teams, 2QBs, 2RBs, 3WR, and a WR/RB (among, of course, the TE, K, DEF). What is the best strategy as far as do you still have to draft runningbacks in the first 2 rounds? I feel like the difference between the 1st and 24th QB might even be greater than the 1st and 24th RB. However, are we really dealing with 36 RBs now? What about the WR/RB slot? Must you start a 3rd RB to compete with the others and draft accordingly? Thanks. Scoring is pretty standard, except passing TDs are also 6 points.

12 team mixed non keeper weekly H2H 6x6 with OPS and IP as extra categories. Hitting: Napoli, Howard, Utley, Peralta, Aramis, Vlad, Bonds, Pence, Morneau. (Bench: RHernandez, KellyJohnson, Jose Guillen, Garko, Carlos Pena, Chris B Young) 5SP/1RP: Sabathia, Hamels, Dice K, Randy Johnson, Gorzelanny, Isringhausen. (Bench: Oliver Perez, Wolf, Jered Weaver, Mussina, Shawn Hill, Bergmann)

just by passing TDs being worth 6 pts instead of 4

Peyton Manning - 359 pts vs 297 pts
Drew Brees - 295 pts vs 243 pts
Carson Palmer - 264 pts vs 208 pts
Marc Bulger - 253 pts vs 205 pts
Tom Brady - 242 pts vs 194 pts

This is how the new list of highest scoring fantasy players would go based on last season...

LT - 410
Peyton - 359
LJ - 320
SJax - 315
Brees - 295
Palmer - 264
Bulger - 253
Gore - 252

if you want to risk it, i would do an elite QB earlier than normal. most likely Peyton will be gone in the 1st because he rarely ever falls out of the 1st round. if you get a high pick, get a top RB. if you get a low pick, go with Peyton. By the time your pick rolls back, there are still going to be some elite RBs left on the board. but dont worry too much about getting a top QB though, because even Eli Manning threw as many TDs as Marc Bulger and Tom Brady.

lol, you know what, i totally forgot that you had to start 2 QBs. if you end up with a low draft pick, you could conceivably end up with two high picks based on the numbers above.

Say you had to pick last, so you were picks #12 and then #13. it would be sick if you picked up Peyton and then Brees. think about it, you'd end up with the second and fifth highest scoring fantasy players based on last seasons numbers. by the time the 3rd and 4th rolls back, im willing to bet some solid RBs will still be available, say Thomas Jones, Cedric Benson, or either of the top rookie RBs like Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch. its risky, but the QBs could be your two highest scoring players.

but hell, im not an expert, just givin my opinion. this is, after all, my rookie season of fantasy football.

whatever you do always remember for god sake take your kicker and defence with last 2 picks and also only 1 of each so your not throwing away picks
