| Our 16 team roto league will have the following stat categories G, A, PIM, +/-, PPP, SHP, GWG, SH and for goalies W, GAA, SV, SO. Obviously Crosby will be the #1 pick but after that it gets muddy. Should I draft a goalie in the 1st round? With 8 to 4 ratio of f/d to goalie stat categories I think that I should be drafting the best player available and not a goalie, But if I pass on a goalie in the first round I may get stuck with a 2nd tier goalie in the 2nd round. Here are my top 16: 1. Sidney Crosby 2. Dany Heatley 3. Roberto Luongo 4. Joe Thornton 5. Miikka Kiprusoff 6. Martin Brodeur 7. Jarome Iginla 8. Alexander Ovechkin 9. Vincent Lecavalier 10. Jaromir Jagr 11. Marian Hossa 12. Evgeni Malkin 13. Ilya Kovalchuk 14. Jason Spezza 15. Henrik Zetterberg 16. Henrik Lundqvist Post your thoughts...

Henrik Lundqvist Post your thoughts... your list looks fine. i'd personally bump Brodeur up the list and the last half of your first round could end up in any sort of order whatsoever but still ... the list looks fine. i like Spezza and Zett more than Kovalchuk, i'd drop Hossa down too. i drop Iginla below Ovechkin, Lecavalier and Jagr. goalies look like it might be a bit of a crapshoot if you don't get a solid stud early, guys like Fernandez and Vokoun have question marks. i'd probably put Giguere somewhere on that list. i sure hope your draft isn't soon. i haven't actually crunched numbers yet so i can't say what my list is going to look like, i'm trying to look at trends and possible opportunities actually.

| Should I consider slightly downgrading Heatley, Spezza, Alfedsson after long playoff run? Look what happened to EDM and CAR after their cup runs.

the only one i'd downgrade is Alffy ... because i can't be sure who he's going to get to play with. Heatley and Spezza won't hurt you even if you grade them too high.
