Want to get rid of some spares but don't want to drop Sykora, Beauchemin. Ranger fan probably would love to have Gomez. He needs a LW but his LW are not enough to trade Vanek or Tanguay.

if there's anyone to sell the farm for then Heatley is one of a handful to do so. if it were me then i'd be insisting on getting Vanek included but it's also very hard to get someone to give up a superstar for a package of players.

I'll probably trade Gomez for Cheechoo but have to try for Heatley.
Budaj seems like an upgrade over FNorrena so offered Gomez and Budaj for Heatley? Probably not enough but could include Tanguay or Sykora.

He declined the Heatley offer as well as Gomez for Cheechoo. Thought Gomez for Cheechoo pretty good.
Haven't decided who to grab with open spot.
He offered DRoy, FNorrena, Cheechoo for EStaal, Budaj, PSykora. This would solve my RW problem. Probably drop Norrena for temporary add until Straka returns.
Rather trade Gomez instead of Staal. If he wants Staal (hot start; nice value) then maybe ask for Heatley instead of Cheechoo? Or give him Gomez instead of Staal?
C is deep and some good FA options; like Ribeiro, Nylander, maybe Ryder once he gets hot.
