The current deal on the table is:Zambrano and Giles-Atl, for Matsui-NYY and Figgins. I think I can afford to trade away Zambrano since I just got Santana in a deal that saw me trade away Abreu and Zito to get Santana and Dempster. I guess I should tell you this is a 5x5 league. My team is:C-Varitek, 1B-Konerko, 2B-Giles, 3b-Ramirez, SS-Crosby, OF-Bay, Wilson, Hermida, Gibbons and Duffy. MI-Kinsler, CI-Fielder, Util-Morneau and Casey. You can see how bad I need the steals. My SP-Santana, Zambrano, Bonderman, Weaver, Young, Liriano and Reyes. RP-Gagne, FCordero, Dempster, Rincon and Madson-who may end up the the rotation. Should I pull the trigger on the next deal? Did I screw up on the 1st deal? What do you guys think I should do? Help! Thanks! Barry

I think this deal is pretty even and I would rather have Matsui and Figgins.
Go ahead and accept it.

You are lacking in steals and Figgins will provide them, I like the trade given your team. Not a fan of the 1st trade but what is done is done, so don't worry about it.

| Take the deal. The only real stolen base threats you have a Bay and Duffy. The rest of the team looks strong enough to survive without Zambrano and Giles.

you need to make a move in speed and Figgy is among the best options there are. i'd make the move too.
i'm also ok with your first deal cuz you got Santana out of it. i'm not a BIG Dempster fan but he's serviceable.
