8 total football leagues:
1 on cbssportsline - (4-9) and obviously out of the playoffs [!]
7 on ESPN - three missed the playoffs - 2 with (6-7) records and 1 with a (7-6). The other 4 are in the playoffs. 3 finished (9-4) and one at (8-5).[8D]

TMR5 set up here on the site
1st out of 14 - 10-2 (we started a wk late)

TMR/RotoJunkie challenge (vs. some chumps at RotoJunkie)
2 out of 12 - 10-3

a regular league I'm in for all 4 sports - World League
4 of 12 but making a move up - 8-5

a league set up here on the boards - League of Ordinary Gentlemen
6 of 12 and might make the playoffs - 7-6

its been fun.

Ian

If the likes of Larry Johnson, Willie Parker, and Anquan Boldin had been on my waiver wire at any time during the season, I'd undoubtedly be in a much better position. They were all taken in the draft - it is a Winners League where every owner won his league last year. Unfortunately, my waiver wire was populated with the likes of Jerome Bettis, Ron Dayne, Nate Burleson, and the aforementioned Jermaine Wiggins. I did score DeShaun Foster off waivers, but that was probably the best non-IR player available all year.

Floated several trade offers, looking for an upgrade at RB and downgrade at QB for Westbrook and McNabb or Palmer. No interest.

I'm amazed that the owners of, say, Tomlinson or Edgerrin James have not kicked your a$% out of first place. Who else do they have on their teams, dead guys? Trent Dilfer?

It's great that this site was able to help you get into first and the playoffs. But this site helped me little, as much of this nightmare season was a done deal as of my draft.

Good luck to you in the playoffs.

One league.

Agree with ya somewhat. Football is not as consistent as baseball. Baseball is a grind as it were. One bad game in Football is equivalant to 10 bad games in Baseball, two games - two games.

However my draft was just as bad if not worse then yours.

1st round - Deuce McAllister (Went down soon then McNabb and less productive when they both were playing)
2nd round - Julius Jones same as you
3rd round - Mike Anderson up and down
4th round - Nate Burleson nothing all year
5th round - Laveranues Coles one round earlier then you got him

However all is not lost. I'm currently first over all (10-3). How you say? Well because of this site. I was able to get players like Larry Johnson, Willie Parker, Anquon Bolden...etc...and this site really helped me get the most out of my trades. Too many to mention. Sold high, bought low. In the Playoffs

Two leagues.

9th of 20 and falling fast in the TMR 4 points league.

Clinched 1st of 12 in the college friends money league. I credit the TMR crew for making sure I took Larry Johnson in the 5th. I'd be doing even better had I had the sense to avoid Priest at #3 overall.

2 leagues, 6 - 7 in an idp league and struggling to make the playoffs, first pick in that league was duante culpepper!, 11 - 1 - 1 and 1st in a standard yahoo with friends who are all bastard competitors. i have capitalized in a major way with being a member of the tmr. just to have someone to bounce ideas off of and the articles, whether i agree or not, gives me perspective. i think half the fun of fantasy sports is having to scramble and be logical and tactical when injuries cripple you or luck takes you out. b

5 leagues - clinched playoffs in 2 twelve team leauges and another 10 team league (also leader in pts in the 10 team league). middle of the pack in another 10 team league, and got my ass kicked in another 12 teamer...

You should always try and trade a player before dropping/cutting him from your team. If I don't mention that in my post consider it my assumption that you've already explored (or exhausted) trade possibilities.
