Look for Gonchar to pile up a lot of points this year. The Penguins should have a very strong powerplay.

I like the pens getting Gonchar. I'm actually excited for them this year. Hopefully they will be able to compete in this "new" NHL.

I also like what the panthers are trying to do, if the guys they are picking up can still go they could be a surprise team in the east.

Gonchar is a great pick-up for the Pens. He and Tarnstrom should be a nice PP combo for Pittsburgh, who is looking almost 500% percent better than 2003.
